  • Celebrate your achievement at the highest point in Africa.
  • Descend back to Barafu Camp for a short rest and refreshments.
  • Continue descending to Mweka Camp (3,100 meters).
  • Approximate hiking time: 12-14 hours to summit, 4-6 hours descent.

Day 7: Mweka Camp to Mweka Gate and Departure

  • Descend through the lush rainforest to Mweka Gate (1,640 meters).
  • Complete park exit formalities.
  • Transfer back to your hotel in Moshi or Arusha.
  • Celebrate your successful climb with a farewell dinner.
  • Overnight at your hotel.
  • Departure the following day.
